Master of Puppets

End of passion play, crumbly away! I'm your source of self destruction! Oh, whatever.

Vision: 2. stars. The idea of the "master of puppet" thing is pretty bland, but the idea was pulled of fairly well. I say, "fairly well," because the master himself looks sort of like a nordic Aku from Samurai Jack and that in and of itself kind of took away from the idea itself.

Originality: 3 stars. Well I've seen this type of "square" art style, I think it's more well executed here than most other pictures. The monsters look well drawn and creepy and the fire and lighting is well done.

Technique: 3 stars. The shading and lighting are extremely well done. Though, it's a lot harder to comment on things that are well done than what are poorly done I'll point out that the bats look horrible and the puppets have hardly any detail on them. Whatever.

Impact: 3.5 stars. This picture is extremely well done and gives not only a sense of horror, but a sense of wonder and hope. The guy standing there looks ready to take on the world of these horrible monsters, but one cannot be sure if he will win or lose. Blah blah blah, look how pretentious I can be.
